They used to be everywhere. Now there are fewer every day. Each row of cars is one model: the dark cars are the ones still on the road.

Each row has 20 cars, each one a twentieth of the most licensed since 2014.

Models with 200,000 or more licensed at some point since 2014, by the most lost. “A day” is the fall over the last year. “At that rate” carries on the last two years’ fall in a straight line: real declines usually slow, so it’s a lower bound, not a forecast.
